Good marketing, or stream vulture?
Nicki Minaj is heavily buzzing in the industry after dropping off her fifth studio album Queen last Friday. The first week sales projections hit, and they weren’t looking bad for Nicki, but would serve as one of her worst first-week debuts.
Her marketing team must have taken notice to this, and decided to add 6ix9ine’s huge hit “FEFE” feat. Nicki Minaj as the 20th track on the album. Clearly, this was put into place to boost album sales, but seems kind of fishy on an industry-ethic standpoint.
Sure, it’s logical to increase the sales, and it will certainly be working as the track is charted currently at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100. Peep her new Queen upload below, and be on the lookout for more material from the Queens rapper.
