SUMMARY
Mainstream club hit artist Future brings another mixtape to add to his many he dropped in 2015. His first mixtape of 2016 is executive produced by DJ Esco and critically acclaimed producer Metro Boomin. Believe it or not, Future shows us his flow switch in this mixtape, getting away from the "syrupy" flow we saw in DS2. You still have your classic future beats and bass sounds, but the rap has moved to something different than "classic Future". He brings a different voice in Purple Reign, which shows us a darker side of Future. He slows things down in "Perkys Calling" and gives us a song for his true fans. "No Charge" goes hard bringing back his classic beat flow. He shows us a new styled mixtape unlike we have ever seen from Future but overall, this is a great album and we will most likely see more Future projects in 2016.
