Everyone’s favorite Connecticut Boom-Bap artist is back, this time with a LP full of twisting story telling through his spiteful chants and lyricism. Running 14 tracks in length, Ap delivers to his loyal audience a signature styled effort making even the average hip hop fan satisfied.
He tackles some big names on the project, even working with DJ Premier and Pete Rock. Preem is Ap’s all time favorite producer, and he says that this brought a lot of pressure in preparation for the album. “I tend to overthink sh*t, because he’s my favorite producer of all time—and the legendary status he brings to the table.”
Apathy has been hyping up the album for quite some time, dropping 4 pre-leak singles in anticipation for it’s release. Some of the features he grabs come from Pharoahe Monch, Celph Titled, Chumzilla, Locksmith, DJ Mekalek, and a bunch more.
