A$AP Ferg brings the Mob together to give us a new music video for “Yammy Gang.” This record in particular is the only track off of Ferg’s new project, Always Strive and Prosper that the A$AP Mob collabs on.
The video shows the Mob acting exceedingly hype in the desert as Ferg, Rocky, Nast and the rest of the crew deliver astounding bars that bump in your speakers. The direction the video is excellent, the production of the track is awesome and the verses are pure fire.
The track is especially trying to pay homage to A$AP Yams who passed away in January of 2015, he has been credited for starting the group. One could tell that the group is trying to carry on Yam’s legacy by the way the Mob deliver their bars. The style and flow used over a distinct instrumental closely replicates Yam’s style.
A$AP Yam’s mother, Tatiana Paulino, also appears at the end of the track to say this about her son,
“This is for all my beautiful people around the world. My son was a genius. I wanna continue his legacy.”
