It’s been quite some time since we last were delighted with a solo effort from Dreamville’s Bas, but today he returns with a banger to satisfy the fans’ integrity. He taps up and comer Correy C, who provides a great verse showing his chemistry with Bas.
The single stays true to Bas’s neutral style, with hard hitting raw kicks and simple 808s. Bas spits heavy truth over top the production, using his lyrical ability to the fullest.
The single serves as a follow up to his 2013 track “Pinball”, and brings the same feel. He also came through with the official lyric video, which you can view above. Be on the prowl for more Bas content this year, with a hopeful project OTW.
