For the Billboard music awards, the finalists among the rap genre are starting to show some more improvement. Compared to last years awards, we are starting to see more diversity among the artists, songs, and albums that appear in the Hip Hop genre.
Artists like Bryson Tiller, Drake, Fetty Wap, The Weeknd, Chris Brown, Future, Wiz Khalifa, and Silentó all appear in the new Billboard lineup for the Billboard Music Awards this year.
The 2016 Billboard Music Awards are set to air on ABC on May 22 at 8 PM Eastern Time. We will hopefully see more Hip Hop and R&B in the categories like the Top 100 Artist and the Top Streaming Artist.
