ALBUM REVIEW: Canal Street Confidential By Curren$y

Curren$y dropped a hot new album called “Canal Street Confidential” on December 4th, 2015. Here are our editor’s thoughts and overall review on Curren$y’s album.

SUMMARY Curren$y brings a new style to his Canal Street Confidential album. With features like Future, K CAMP, Wiz Khalifa, Lil Wayne, August Alsina, and Ty Dolla $ign, you would have to think this is the perfect album. Most of his songs with rap superstars are close to some perfect songs. However, some of his solo songs just don't have what that average listener is looking for. Some songs with hard beats, some without. "Bottom of the Bottle" proves to be one of the hottest hits since last December and just about the best song on the album. "Drive By" is another goodie with mainstream rap star Future, and is a great song to listen to in the whip. Curren$y brings a hard, deep flow against trap beats with a soft deep voice. This album is an all around good album and we hope to see more from Curren$y in 2016.	7.5 OVERALL SCORE
