Dave East, a Harlem rapper, announced today that he will be releasing his debut album Kari Chanel on September 30th. Today we received the first single off of the album.
The song “Keisha” is essentially telling a very vivid story that is setting up the album. The story illustrates Dave East meeting a Queens girl named Keisha, and they eventually exchange numbers. The track then goes into detail about East heading to her hotel, and then to purchase condoms. It’s actually a pretty interesting track and it’s worth the listen.
