Dave East has been flooding the community fresh off his release of his 3rd studio album Paranoia 2 just yesterday. Adding to the hype even more, Dave decides to revisit Paranoia to the fan favorite “They Hated,” featuring Nas for an amazing cinematic mini film music video.
Like Many artists today like Future, Young Thug, 21 Savage, and others, more and more artists are integrating their music video with mini cinematic films that interconnect with the message behind the song.
Directed by Kid Art, the 10 minute music video cuts inbetween clips of Nas trapping out the song and clips of a short film of a group hustler’s and the many legal/gang troubles that comes with hustling. Packed with gritty, raw scenes of the street life problems the music video is quite suspensful and follows the lyrics of the track quite well.
