With Ab-Soul staying out of the hip hop scene for quite some time, we finally get a new track from the TDE artist. Huey Knew is an eerie track with simplistic production but complex vocals.
With Da$h bringing a nice verse on the track, the new single flows together quite nice. The production is heavy while still keeping it simple. The lyrics are quite amazing as Ab-Soul is a critically acclaimed lyricist.
Ab-Soul is expected to drop his album VERY soon, and this could be the first single. Anthony Tiffith revealed that Soul-o turned in his album for mixing and mastering last month, so the album is expected to drop this year.
