Granjer Records’ fourthcoming compilation album Thiswaywestward is soon to be dropped in full. Leading off the album, one of Granjer’s powerhouse artists Jesse Medina started the hype on September with his Kool Keith assisted “Chasin Franklin.” Releasing today the two artists connect for a heavily edited music video to the new track.

Directed by Matt Posada, the music video takes the nature of the drugged and trippy sound the track has and compliments it with some nice trippy edits. With a guest verse from Keith aka Dr. Octogon, the track is taken to another level and more bouncy.

Check out the visuals andbe ready for the track to be set to be featured on Granjer Records’ forthcoming compilation LP, Thiswaywestward.

The track is also accompanied with the release of a comic book that details Jesse’s adventures with the eccentric Dr. Octagon. The comic is available at select comic book retailers in the LA and the Bay Area, and can be purchased directed via Soft Comics online, and requesting a copy.
