Kap G will be performing at halftime during the Atlanta Hawks – OKC Thunder game.
The Hawks announced several events today in support of the city’s diversity and cultural bounds. Tuesday, March 13th marks a big matchup against the OKC Thunder, and in support of the NBA’s Noches Éne-Bé-A movement, the organization will be hosting a cultural game vs. the Thunder including a performance from Kap G.
Atlanta’s own Kap G will take the stage during halftime in support of the initiative, along with embracing his heritage as a Latin artist in the area. The Hawks will be selling limited edition co-branded merch in the in-arena Hawks Shop and HawksShop.com.
Kap G is fresh off the release of his latest tape Real Migo Shit 4, which included one of his biggest hits “Marvelous Day” feat. Lil Uzi Vert & Gunna which also was featured on his Mood EP. The limited edition T-Shirts will read “It’s A Marvelous Day” referring back to his track, along with the text “Que Pasa Homes” meaning “hometown boy” bearing Atlanta’s cultural values being a big time artist making it out of the city.
I love my Latin heritage and it’s an honor that I’ll get to share that with Hawks fans and my city. I want all of my fans to come out to the game and help me celebrate this historic moment
The Mexican-American rapper is set for a big performance at Philips Arena when the Hawks face off against the Thunder. Hawks fans, be sure to attend the Hawks vs. Thunder game presented by Entercom Atlanta Stations, be on the lookout for more material coming from Kap in the near future, and check out the limited edition T-Shirts below.
