Khalid’s “American Teen” Goes Platinum

Khalid’s debut album, American Teen, just went platinum.

Its official, in 7 months, Khalid’s career took off as an artist and is now has his first RIAA certified platinum album. With tracks like “Location” and “Young Dumb & Broke”, his debut album was nothing short of a phenomenal sensation.

His album included absolutely no features, and it went platinum pretty quick. It is quite hard in this industry to get any album to go platinum let alone with no features on the project.

According to RIAA, the album went platinum on the 24th of October. We can expect Khalid to keep his reign strong, so expect some content from him soon. Stay tuned as we await more material, and congratulations Khalid on the platinum project!
