It’s been almost a year since we lost one of hip hop’s most influential up-and-comers. We’ve since received a few sporadic posthumous releases from Peep’s camp, but nothing seemed to compare to his XXXTentacion-assisted “Falling Down”, which dropped last week.

This week iLoveMakonnen delivers the original version of the track, which had Makonnen at the forefront of the feature. He was kind enough to team up with Peep & X’s mothers, who essentially put the song together from this one.

The OG version brings a much more raw feel to it, with Peep’s unmastered vocals fitting perfectly with Makonnen’s off-beat style. Stream their newest track above, and keep your eyes peeled for more material.
