This year has been absolutely heartbreaking for the entire hip hop industry, originally losing Lil Peep to an accidental overdose, then XXXTentacion to a raw day cold blooded murder. Fans have been in shackles quite frankly, paying homage to their favorite artists at any chance.

iLoveMakonnen has been a long time curator in hip hop, bringing together a lot of tracks in unorthodox ways. Today he delivers a posthumous collab for the two’s fans, with fresh vocals coming from both artists and a new production.

The overall mood stays depressive, and honestly sounds like something they would release if they were still around. It’s reported that the two artists have never actually met in person, but in retribution, we get a new song in their name. We can expect more unreleased material to surface from both artists, but in the meantime, chew on their new official collaboration.
