The new XXL Freshman’s Lil Uzi Vert & Lil Yachty have responded to J. Cole’s alleged diss track.
As most of you know, J. Cole dropped his first songs of the year this week “Everybody Dies,” & “False Prophets.” Not only dropping a heat song the track came with a lot of shots towards many rappers including Drake, Kanye West, and apparently now Lil Uzi Vert & Lil Yachty. Rapping in “Everybody Dies,” Cole spits “Especially the amateur eight-week rappers / Lil’ whatever, just another short bus rapper.” Speculations implied they were shots toward Vert & Yacht.
Both artist don’t seem to be to much worried about. Lil Uzi took to Twitter to say “Heard some beautiful shit today @JColeNC,” followed by a fire emoji, a 100 emoji, and a devil grin emoji, implicating this was not a genuine remark.
Though not directly attacking him, i don’t think Vert likes the comments at all and could see some future beef in the future.

Yachty, when asked about it an interview with Power 106, stated “Yeah I heard it. It was cool, It flooded my shit. It was everywhere,” Yacht said. As then he said “I don’t listen to J. Cole.”
Turns out Yachty actually respects J. Cole stating “I f**k with J. Cole, bro,” even though he doesn’t listen to him. He also brought up some old tweets he tweeted when he was 14 saying “F””k J.Cole,” that could have triggered the diss. “Those tweets came out when I said those crazy things when I was 14,” he said, “I was trollin’. I hope he doesn’t feel any type of way.”
Both rappers don’t seemed to fazed by the track, after all there are a lot of “lil” rappers out there with intention to diss directly at them. You can watch Lil Yachty’s interview below.
