Don Cannon and DJ Drama clarify that Lil Uzi Vert is only signed to Generation Now.
A few weeks back, we reported, along with all the blogs, that Lil Uzi was signed under Wiz Khalifa’s independent Taylor Gang. Well, Don Cannon and DJ Drama clarify otherwise.
Today, both took to Twitter to explain that Uzi is only signed under Generation Now, a sub-department of Atlantic Records. This clarifies that Uzi is NOT signed to Wiz Khalifa’s independent label.
So, why didn’t Uzi or Wiz come out early to clarify this? Uzi may have just been co-signed with Wiz, though not contractually obligated under Taylor Gang. Stay tuned as we get more word from everyone involved, and peep DJ Drama and Don Cannon’s Tweets below.
