Lil Wayne Says “Funeral” Is Coming Soon [New Project]

Lil Wayne announces “Funeral,” a new project coming soon.

Still locked up under Cash Money label, Tha Carter V, may never been released to the public but that doesn’t mean Lil Wayne is retiring. In the latest “The Nine Club,” interview Wayne announced the upcoming release of a new project supposedly titled Funeral.

“Just make sure they know that that Funeral coming soon …That’s my music – get your roses ready.”

“I don’t have a release date, but I have a whole bunch of good news coming soon … If you’re a Wayne fan, I know we been going through a lot of tough times right now, but if you are a Wayne fan, we about to hold our heads up high soon.”

No release date or cover on the project so that’s as good as it gets. You can watch the whole interview below.
