Lupe Fiasco confirms albums are coming 2017.
After previous beef with DJBooth, Lupe Fiasco announced his upcoming albums Droga Lite and Drogas would be cancelled along with his retirement as a rapper. Well, last night performing in Cleveland, Lupe announced to the crowd that his two albums will be dropped February 10th.
Lupe said he had to put out one more album for his Atlantic Records contract. H explained his difficulties with Atlantic saying he could never fully express an album through Atlantic, that’s why the full Drogas album will be released after the “lite” version.
Stay tuned for the release of the albums soon. Hopefully Lupe will continue to our out music after his contract expires with Atlantic. Check out the original beef that started Lupe’s retirement.
