While Meek’s introspective views have been nothing new to us, his recent release from prison has opened up a new side to him, that shines through his new song.
Meek’s “Stay Woke,” campaign aims at the issues in today’s enviroment within the criminal justice system. Meek delivers some heavy bars throughout the song, reflecting on his time in prison. Over the piano-key driven beat, Miguel sings his soulful hook.
