The next solo Phife Dawg album is on its way for 2017.
Phife Dawg’s group A Tribe Called Quest just released their latest project We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service, and proved to be a #1 album on the charts. Phife Dawg however, passed away earlier this year. Last week he got a streets in Queens named after the late artist.
Now we got word from Phife Dawg’s wife that his next solo album is on the way. She explains that it should drop in the first quarter of 2017. Peep the full quote from his wife Deisha Head Taylor:
His solo album will be out probably sometime during the first quarter of 2017. We’re working on it now. He completed his entire solo album before he transitioned, so we’re excited about releasing that.
