Stream “The Complex” from Reks, Pharaohe Monch, and Statik Selektah.

To prep his first studio LP in nearly 20 years, Reks is here with one of the first pre-leaks for his upcoming effort titled T.H.I.N.G.S. (The Hunger Inside Never Gets Satisfied). Kicking it off with a bang, his aura and energy matches that of the project’s title itself. The Massachusetts native taps Pharaohe Monch who provides detailed bars as him and Reks swap verses.

We even get production from one of hip hop’s beloved, Statik Selektah, who accommodates both artists to the track’s fullest potential. The world’s state is amplified on this one where both artists tackle PTSD and big pharma exposing corruption and impurity. Reks’ forthcoming album is slated for a September 11th release, and you can pre-order it below. Take a listen to the first pre-leak above on Spotify, or below on your favorite streaming platform.
