SUMMARY It has come to a surprise that is has taken this long for one of the Mob members to name one of their projects after their most common A S A P idiom, some thought A$AP Rocky would most fit the part after is huge success on the come up. But it is A$AP Ferg who has taken the honor of naming his sophomore LP "Always Strive And Prosper." As a follow up to Ferg's freshman album Trap Lord, it was expected another LP full of surface lyrics and trap beats. With a small mixtape in between studio albums "Ferg Forever," Ferg definitely showed some great improvement. "ASAP" might be Ferg's big breakthrough LP when it comes to originality and style. This LP is definitely Ferg's strongest project to date. This experimental project can satisfy any hip-hop listener with different styles from "Hungry Ham" to "Strive." There is also some more mainstream singles on the album like "New Level" featuring mainstream artist Future, and "Let It Bang" featuring ScHool Boy Q. Both songs definitely one of Ferg's strongest lyrical subjects. Further down the track list we come across the most unique and notable songs "Psycho." Produced by A$AP beat maker Clams Casino, we get a smooth l;aid-back head bobber that is one of Ferg's best beats. Ferg also tries another rap scheme with a different style, rapping about his unstable uncle mentioned in the "Meet My Crazy Uncle" (skit), before the track. Despite the experimental beats with tracks all over the place "Always Strive And Prosper" mixes well. "ASAP's," tight script would work well with a small group of collaborators but instead, an ensemble of artist were brought on for this wild project. Makes it better from a commercial standpoint but there are some week links that ruin the potential. We get a deep look into Ferg's personal life and not only makes him a top Mob member but a top rapper.	6.2 OVERALL SCORE
