After dropping his hit track “New Freezer” with Kendrick Lamar about a month back, Rich drops the futuristic music video to accommodate the song. The track has since blown up, and has given Rich The Kid a ton of leverage on the charts.
This has been quite the year for Rich, with the drop of his Rich Forever 3 in collaboration with Famous Dex and Jay Critch, along with his signing to Interscope Records. It was only right that Kendrick and Rich did a song together, as they both are signed under Interscope.
Rich The Kid explained in an interview that Kendrick hit the studio with Rich, where he played the King some tracks. Kendrick specifically liked this one, and wanted to hop on the track for a solid verse. The end product turned into one of Rich’s biggest hits to date, and we can see why. The music video solidifies Rich’s come-up in the industry, and a feature with King Kendrick is never something to be taken lightly.
