If Top Dawg Entertainment hasn’t been a label powerhouse in the past few years, then I couldn’t tell you another record label that has been doing it like them. Keeping original sounds and giving artist creativity to the max while generating mainstream singles, TDE is giving some of the best opportunities in hip hop.
SiR was recently signed to the label, and is instantly joined by ScHoolBoy Q, Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, SZA, and Jay Rock cosigns. His R&B likeness with a completely unique sound is making SiR a huge name in the folk-R&B side of hip hop.
His new album brings a hefty feature from ScHoolBoy, who has always seemed to give the most cosigns for the new recruits of TDE (i.e. “Toaster” by Lance Skiiiwalker). Each track serves as a testament to the growth of SiR’s career, and he really delivered on this project. Stream it above for yourself, and be ready for a solid 2018 for SiR.
