Skepta slows things down on his new collab track with Wizkid for “Energy”

The U.K. has not had the best reputation when it comes to hip-hop talent in the U.S. Appearing on Drake’s More Life & A$AP Rocky’s Testing, Skepta has easily become the biggest U.K. rapper known in the United States. Making some huge waves with some big artist, Skepta has teamed up with Nigerian’s dancehall singer Wizkid for “Energy.”

Slowing down his usual up-tempo boastful raps, “Energy,” contains a soothing, soulful beat that finds Skepta delivering a low pitched verse on his work ethic. Wiz comes in for a beautiful and catchy hook on keeping the bad energy from others away.
