After being selected as the official DJ for the “Battle Of The Year” event in Nigeria sponsored by Red Bull, Teck-Zilla offers his exclusively produced EP. The delivery and flow Teck brings on the project is phenomenal, bringing break-dance inspired production to the table.
Influenced by Florida’s turntablist DJ Chief, Zilla shows off his talents on the keys aside from being a DJ. You can hear this in the high-energy sounds of “Mtoto B-Boy,” which flips Victoria Kimani’s “Mtoto,” and “Skelewu B-Boys,” which injects even more flavor into Davido’s original “Skelewu.”
Each track has something new to offer, and the content creation was well developed with break dancers in mind. Staying true to classical jazz roots and EDM hits, its easy to see the direction Teck-Zillla is headed. Stream Teck-Zilla’s newest EP above, and stay tuned as we await more production from the DJ.
