Tory Lanez has become a HUGE sensational hit these past few months in the R&B and Hip Hop world.
But now, for some odd reason, The New Toronto singer has declined an offer to every young artist’s dream: an XXL Freshman spot. Tory Lanez has had a few radio hits like Say It and L.A. Confidential these past few months, with a lot to show for his growing success.
So, now coming close to a top Hip Hop artist, why would Tory decline such an offer that most of today’s small rappers strive for?
Tory took to twitter yesterday to announce his declined offer as an artist.
I passed on the XXL cover . Don’t b confused
The Lost Cause artist must have more of a cause for his rejection of XXL’s Freshman cover. The Freshman started to roll out around June of last month, and with another spot open, XXL has the voting up for the 10th XXL Freshman spot, with Tory still listed as a contender.
We will just have to wait and see Tory’s reasoning behind his declination of XXL’s Freshman cover for this year. Stay tuned to find out the rest of XXL’s Freshman this year once they start to roll out.
