As we heard from rumors, Vince’s alleged short film is finally here. Released solely under Vevo, Vince Staples brought us an awesome new visual to go right along with his newest project Prima Donna. The Prima Donna short film is nothing under mysterious, creepy, and a little bit weird.
Vince’s main concept for his newest EP is death, and that is shown on the video. Vince starts the video with a ton of themes related around fame and transitions to how fame actually makes him feel. His ending death summarizes a nasty plot to kill himself in the end. Vince’s death at the end symbolizes how he actually feels as he mentioned quitting rap in the next few years.
Nevertheless, the Prima Donna short film is still a really cool mashup from all the songs on Prima Donna to complete what seems to be a 10 minute music video. Until we get some more content from the popular artist, watch the Prima Donna short film above.
