Yasiin Bey just announced 2 new albums before his retirement

Earlier this year Yasiin Bey, formerly known as Mos Def, announced his retirement via Kanye West’s Website. However, the legendary lyricist has a lot more in store for fans before he officially hangs up the mic.

Bey’s album will be titled Negus In Natural Person, but his other album which is a collaboration with Mannie Fresh will be titled As Promised. The crazy thing is that Bey just recently announced a joint album with Ferrari Sheppard titled Dec 99th. So technically we are getting 3 new Yasiin Bey projects.

The only project that has a release date as of now is Dec 99th. It’s set to drop December 9th. Stay tuned for updates regarding the other two projects.
