Young Greatness dead after horrific shooting in New Orleans.
Hip Hop has lost too many artists within the past few years, and this year has been the most shocking of them all. As we dwell and continue to retribute our fallen rappers, we can’t seem to escape hate within the culture.
Today headlines broke that Quality Control Music’s Young Greatness has died earlier this morning. Theodore Jones, Greatness’ real name, was killed this morning around 1:35AM and a Waffle House in New Orleans.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, suffering from one gunshot wound. There are no suspects in custody, nor person of interest at this time, WWL reports. I’m saddened to have to write on another death within the culture, but we shall continue their legacy through shared music.
